With miles of unspoiled beach, the Hobe Sound National Wildlife Refuge is a popular place for the locals to surf. The public beach at the end of Bridge Road is always busy as well as the Jupiter Inlet. Log on to www.martin.fl.us and click on the visitors section to view the Martin County Beach Cam which gives up to date info on surfing, tides and weather.
The Hobe Sound community is currently working with the county to build a public skate park. Skateboarding is a popular sport here and a public park will provide a safe, fun place for the kids to skate.
